AAHA Board Meeting 10/13/2008

Parents attended board meeting to express their concern regarding the evaluation process. Joe Trawinski, Travel Director, thoroughly explained the evaluation process to the parents. Parents suggested that next year a grading scale of 1-10 be used instead of 1-5. All age groups go back to 1.5 hours of ice per evaluation session except for Mites. Amount of time needed for Girls evaluations will be determined when teams are finalized
The AAHA board will be reviewing and revising the tryout policy. All parents concerns will be considered during the process.

Revisions are being made to the schedule with the addition of another PeeWee House team.
Three volunteers from AAHA board are being requested to work with AFIC and all user groups to discuss common issues. Volunteers: Susan Bush, Tom Reese, Pam West.
AAHA is recruiting for a scheduler. Brenda Dexheimer will be resigning at the end of this season. This is a paid position.
Goalie equipment coordinator is also needed.
Kelly Randerson has accepted the position of High School Director for one year.

Evaluations have been completed. Coaches have notified all skaters.
Cross Ice Director: Doug Due ring
Requested coaching material for Cross Ice coaches.
