Call Pilot Voice Mail Instructions

Your Voice Mailbox has been setup.Your extension number which is displayed on the bottom right corner of your phone’s display is your mailbox number.)The temporary password is 1+7 digit extension. (Ex. 18380005)

  1. Initial Setup (Changing your Temporary password)
  1. Dial 10000 or press the Msg/Inbox()button on your phone
  1. Dial your 7 Digit extension
  1. Enter your Temporary Password (1+ 7 digit extension) and press #. You will then be prompted to change your password. All passwords must be a minimum of 6 digits. You will need to enter the password twice to confirm the change.
  1. Access Voice Mailbox
  1. From an Avaya/Nortel Desk Phone
  1. Dial 10000 or press Msg/Inbox() button on your phone
  1. Dial your 7 Digit extension.
  1. Enter your Password and press #.
  1. AccessVoice Mailbox from outside the phone system
  1. Method 1
  1. Dial your extension from any touch tone phone and wait for the message to start.
  1. Press *81, you will be prompted for your 7 digit mailbox number and then your password.
  1. Method # 2
  1. 216-838-0490 from any touch tone phone, you will be prompted for your 7 digit mailbox number and then your password.
  1. Setting up your Personal Verification – Use this to record a name to be used in place of your phone number when using the standard message
  1. Access Voice Mailbox – See Access Voice Mailbox above
  1. Press 829. If there is an existing record it will play for you, if not it will tell you there is no personal verification.
  1. Press 5 to start recording (State your name), press # to stop recording.
  1. If you wish to re-record, press 76 to delete and go to step 2.
  1. Press 4 to go back to the main Menu or hang-up.
  1. Setting up a personalized greeting to be used in place of the standard greeting(If you do not record a greeting, the standard greeting will be used. )
  1. Access Voice Mailbox – See Access Voice Mailbox above
  1. Press 821 for your external greeting. If there already an existing greeting that greeting will play otherwise you will hear silence and then you will be told to press 5 to record.
  1. Press 5 to start recording and press # to stop recording. (If you make a mistake during the recording delete the bad message by pressing 76)
  1. Press 4 to go back to the main Menu or hang-up.
  1. Temporary Greetings
  1. Access Voice Mailbox – See Access Voice Mailbox above
  1. Press 823 for temporary greeting
  1. Press 5 to start recording and press # to stop recording. (If you make a mistake during the recording delete the bad message by pressing 76)
  1. To Set Expiry Date Press 9
  1. Enter Month, (Enter number 1 to 12 for Month)Press #
  1. Enter Day, (Enter number 1to 31 for day))Press #
  1. Enter Time of Day,(Enter number for hour and minute)Press #. Ex.Enter 8 AM by inputting 800.
  1. Press 1 for AM or Press 2 for PM
  1. Press 4 to go back to the main Menu or hang-up
