Marketing Assistant (Erasmus Internship Position)

Job description
Admissions and Mobility Services of the University of Vaasa in Finland are looking for an Erasmus intern for a period of 3-4 months starting from October 2016. The intern will perform tasks of marketing assistant and they include following:
· Producing marketing content such as videos, images and text for social media
· Creating, maintaining, updating and developing social media channels
· Organising offline and online events for prospective and existing students
· Processing of and replying to enquiries from prospective students
· General support to the team
· Other duties as assigned according to the needs of the Admissions and Mobility Services
Requirements
We look for a candidate who preferably:
· is a marketing student and/or has previous experience in diverse marketing activities
· is fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is considered an asset
· is outgoing, social and able to proactively communicate in different channels
· is inventive and creative
· is willing to think ‘outside of the box’ when creating inspirational marketing contents
· has previous experience of multicultural environment
· is able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Finnish language skills are not mandatory but considered an asset.
The chosen candidate must be part of the Erasmus+ program. S/he is responsible for arranging the funding of the position through the Erasmus+ program and home institution as well as all for arranging necessary insurances for the whole period of the internship.
