I. RATIFICATION OF THE FOLLOWING DECISIONS

Theboard:

  1. Ratifiedaproposaltoapprovetheminutesfrom theMay 25, 2017BODmeetingas written.

II. PROPOSALS

Theboard:

  1. Approved STP: To suspend Legislative Spending Policy from Administrative Handbook
  2. Approved STP: New Technician Name.
  3. Approved STP: New Technician Charges
  4. Approvedas amended STP:Validation of attendance at the House of Delegates
  5. Administrative policy review: The 5old year policies were reviewed by the BOD and suggested changes as required.

The following policies were approved as suggested:

  1. A-2012-04- Canvassing Committee
  2. A-2012-12-President: Role in California Delegation to ASHP HOD
  3. A-2012-27- CPhA: Delegates, House of Delegates
  4. A-2012-14- Executive Committee: Chairperson
  5. A-2012-23- Technician Certification
  6. A-2012-24- Technician Division

III. REPORTS

1. Chair of the Board So, confirmed the schedule for the July BOD and the Strategic planning meeting.

2. CEO DeMartini, reported on the following:

  1. Chapter affiliation agreements and bylaws submissions- Requested the BOD liaisons to submit the chapter affiliation agreements and bylaws for the Society’s records.
  2. Draft Budget for 2017-2018.- DeMartini introduced the draft budget for detailed discussion during the July face- to- face meeting.
  1. SB 716: DeMartini informed that the Board of Pharmacy’s Legislative & Regulatory Committee on June 27, 2017 recommended a neutral position on SB 716. The recommendation will go to the full BOP for discussion during their July 25, 2017 meeting. CPhA, CRA and NADCS are in opposition of the bill.The BOD liaisons of South Bay Long Beach and Southern California express members concerns on the Bill.

President Ferraresi, informed that other chapters like Sierra are in full support of the bill.
