Celebrate Our 50th Anniversary of CAEA withUs!

It’s California Art Education Association’s 50th Anniversary Celebration! CAEA was born in 1965 and we are having a grand celebration and state capitol forum to highlight this year’s state art conference, held in Sacramento November 13-15, 2015. As you may know by now CAEA is now an affiliate of NAEA, pushing our CAEA membership to over 1200, with our goal of 1500 for 2015. We are EXCITED for the future, increasing involvement and attendance. It’s Sacramento for “Proud Past, Bright Future”!
We are keeping the two exhibitor events for Sacramento, this year both are on Friday: Exhibitor Opening will be 11:30am to 1:00pm (no other events going on) and then Friday evening will feature Exhibitors at our 50th Anniversary Bash from 6pm to 9pm. Exhibitors will close on Saturday about 1pm. We will feature the Exhibitor workshops on Saturday morning. Be sure to sign up early if you wish to present your wares in a workshop as we are very limited on breakout rooms. We value you as a very important part of our state art conference and we are always trying to create new events and thinking of new ways to help bring exposure to the exhibitors who make our annual state art conference a success. Please note that Exhibitor Set Up is early on Friday morning at 7am to 11am (not on Thursday afternoon like in the past), then the Opening follows.
Please, carefully fill out the Exhibitor’s Agreement. Be sure to choose your booth locations by using the Exhibitor map. The more information you can give the better. The earlier you send in your agreement AND check, your priority number will be higher in order to receive your FIRST booth choice. We encourage you to participate in the Exhibitor’s Workshops with available workshop slots on Saturday. Take advantage of this time to show off your wares and an art lesson with national/state standards to go with it. These exhibitor workshops have become very, very popular! Please FILL them! Be sure to fill out ALL the needed information, including a description of your lesson and what days you would like to present. ALSO – Box #4 – sign up EARLY to reserve space for your AD in the Conference Program AND get a 25% discount!
Be sure to make hotel reservations asap at the Sheraton Hotel. Information is on the bottom of the Exhibitor’s Agreement. Please mention CAEA 2015 for Conference rates. The tentative Exhibitor Schedule is also at the bottom of the Exhibitor’s Agreement form.
