Testimonials for David Stokes

“You are truly one of the best and most fun educator/naturalists with an inherent ability to creatively convey and share your infectious enthusiasm and passion for nature and the environment with our audience, especially its youngest members. Your use of sign language throughout the performance was truly extraordinary. How wonderful to enhance all the songs in this interactive and educational manner. It was absolutely amazing to look out into the audience and see both children and parents singing and signing the songs.”

Thank you for putting on such enjoyable shows for our library this week. Your knowledge and expertise with animals, and nature in general, is phenomenal. Your animation and presentation are wonderful! I heard nothing but very positive comments from parents and children alike. It is especially great that you are patient in letting each and every child who wants to touch or hold an animal, do so. I know it takes more of your time, but everyone sure appreciates it. Once again, thanks for coming and entertaining the people of Franklin. I know that we will have you again!

David, the children and I really enjoyed your show yesterday. This morning
we listened to the CD and enjoyed that immensely as well.
The educational aspects, told in a way so children remember it,was very
refreshing. You really have a talent for teaching children about
the creatures of the world. Thanks for your service!

Dear Mr. Stokes,

I wanted to let you know how excited our community was with your presentation last month. Both the children and their parents enjoyed suspending reality and participating in song and play with you. We are still getting compliments about your performance. Comments such as awesome WOW! and “this was by far the best program ever offered” are not uncommon. Thank you for your time and efforts; and thank you for making us look good. I hope you will consider a repeat performance some time in the future.

Once again, thank you for an engaging and fun filled family event.

Sincerely,

Pat Greedan

Dear David,

On behalf of the Northern California/Nevada Trainers’ Consortium a HUGE THANK YOU for the incredible workshops you facilitated at our conference. The responses were extremely positive. Your love and passion for nature and all things in it was genuinely apparent, and your presentation skills a breath of fresh air. I can’t thank you enough for your dedication and commitment to getting to California. I hope we can be graced by your presence at a future conference!

“David you are doing exactly what you should be doing. You obviously love what you do and you are good at it. You kept the K through 8th graders attentive and on task”

All in all, the “kids” voted your presentation the best “fun day” we had all year. It was very educational; it was fun; it was cross-curricular; you and the program held the interest of everyone from kindergarten through eighth grade as well as that of the adults. It was a very meaningful experience for everyone involved. It is an experience I hope we can repeat in the coming years.

Dear David,

It was nice to see you again. Your show is very informative and environmentally enlightening. We always enjoy it.

My enviro-daughter enjoyed the comment you made about the fact that the world doesn’t need us but we need animals and plants. I liked the imagi-Nation and that brats are strange things to eat, since we are vegetarians. You point out thought-provoking ideas and people need that.

You have a quick wit. And your jokes make people think. Keep up the good work. It’s always a pleasure coming to your appearances. Thank-you, Debbie Desmoulin & Alizee
