BSPS Summer Championship Show : This show is a qualifier for the BSPS championship show to be held 20-23rd August 2014 at Arena UK, 1st & 2nd prize winners from classes3-6, 15, 16, 42, 43, 45-48, and 1st 2nd & 3rd from classes 7, 22-26, 31-33 and 1st 2nd 3rd & 4th from classes 1, 2, 9, 21, 39-41 will qualify provided the pony is owned, registered and ridden in accordance with rules 23 & 28.

BSPS Premier League:This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Premier League. The 1st 2nd 3rd & 4th placed ponies will qualify in the open classes which are not RIHS qualifiers. This show is a qualifier for the “BSPS Classic Security (UK) Ltd Challenge” the highest placed pony that has not qualified for the 2014 Horse of the Year show, in the appropriate class, will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified for the Challenge, the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony.

BSPS Best Rider : The best rider in classes 2-7, 9, 21,39& 40-41 will be awarded Best Rider card and qualify for the BSPS “Black Country Saddles” best rider, at the summer championship show.

BSPS Classic Security UK Ltd Challenge:The following will qualify L.R, F.R, Open Show ponies, Nursery Stakes, Open WH ponies, Open SH ponies, Open Intermediate SH, SRT & WH. The highest placed pony that has not qualified for the 2014 Horse of the Year Show in the appropriate class, will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified for the BSPS Challenge the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. If after qualifying for the Challenge a pony qualifies for HOYS it will forfeit it’s qualification for the “BSPS Challenge”. Animals may qualify for both the Blue Riband of the Year and the Challenge, but must select which competition they compete in at the B.S.P.S. Championships show. They may not compete in the same class in the BSPS Challenge & the Blue Riband of the Year. The highest placed pony that has not qualified for the BSPS Challenge will qualify; if the highest placed pony has already qualified the qualification will go to the next eligible pony. The final will be held at the BSPS Summer Championship Show

Royal International Horse Show:This show is a qualifier for the RIHS. The highest placed pony (not already qualified) from the first three ponies placed in classes 3-7, 15-18, 22-26, & 31-35, 44-48 will qualify. Owners and riders must be BSPS members and the pony registered with the BSPS to compete in these classes. Anglo & PBA’s must be registered with the AHS to compete in these classes. The Levy charged by the RIHS is included in the entry fee (Levy is £8.50).

Ponies (UK) Summer National Championship Show and winter classic 2015.This show is a qualifier for the Ponies (UK) Summer National Championship,to be held on the 8th- 10th August 2014 at Stoneleigh, and Winter Classics 2015. 1st 2nd & 3rdhorses/poniesin each qualifying class will qualify. C1asses 1, 2,10, 13,14, 19,20,27,28, 36-38, 40-43, will qualify. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of P (UK) are allowed 14 days in which to become members and register their horses/ponies in order for the qualification to remain valid. The exception being any competitor qualifying at a show between 1st July and 31st July their membership must be submitted within 48 hours after the qualifying event in order for the qualification to remain valid. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by resultssent in by the show secretary

Equifest Qualifiers : The two highest placed exhibits in each classes 2,9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 20, 21,27, 28,36- 38, 40, 42, and 43, not already qualified will qualify for theEquifest final at the East of England on the 13th-17th August 2014.

Qualifiers for the North of England Summer Show:The Open SHP & SP Champion will qualify for the “Michaela Wood” Supreme Ridden Pony Championship at the North of EnglandSummer Pony Show.

The Mini M&M Champion will qualify for the “Vale Farm” Supreme Mini Pony Championship at the North of England Summer Pony Show.

The Champion Ridden M&M will qualify for the “Torne Valley” M&M Championship. If the Champion has already qualified the Reserve will go forward to the North of England In-hand & M&M Show

The Intermediate Champion will qualify for the “Sporting Sam” supreme intermediate championship

The Anglo and part bred Arab champion will qualify for the “June Horsefall” Supreme championship

If the champions have already qualified the reserve champions will go forward

B.S.P.A. RIHS QUALIFIERS: Classes 27-30 are affiliated to the BSPA 29 & 30 are qualifiers for the RIHS Hickstead 2014. Classes willbe judged under BSPA Rules. Download from Horses/ponies must be registered and all owners & riders BSPAmembers prior to the show. All stallions must be graded & licensed with the BSPA. No rider under 14years may exhibit a stallion in anyclass. Membership & qualification cards must be carried in the ring by competitors & produced as required for inspection or signature.Failure to do so will lead to disqualification. Spurs may not be worn in any pony class. Ponies 153cms & under (Shetlands exempt) mustpossess a current JMB height certificate. All stallions must be in possession of a BSPA stallion ID card, which must be carried at alltimes & produced upon request. No competitor/owner/horse may compete in this class or enter the ring without current 2014membership of BSPA and a RIHS qualification card. Qualification: 1st placed & the next unqualified competitor standing 2nd or 3rd qualifyfrom each class. Qualification will not go below 3rd place.
