NRCS REPORT: Attached
CES: Brad Gamett is the new County Educator. He asked about the measuring of moisture in fields that are in the proposed LESA project. This is part of the contract to monitor moisture in fields for 3 years after installation.
Discussed the soil testing requirements for CSP. Jesse will forward the information to him. Jeff moved to provide $100 for AG Day, Walt 2nd, carried. Mindy will help if she can.
FISH AND WILDLIFE:
OLD BUSINESS
LETTERS OF INTENT: Randy met with Butte and have signed letter. Admin Assist is to mail the Custer County.
MEMORANDANDUM OF AGREEMENT: Lost River Highway District. Jesse has been in contact with
Army Corp and Lost River Highway District to work out requirements for monitoring.

ENVIROTON: Donation toward state competition
Will be sponsoring National Envirothon 2018
(Asking $5000.00 donation from each district)
Draft Agenda and Budget (copies) Tabled. Rob will contact Chris to
answer the boards questions
BOARD ELECTIONS: Walt signed Oath of Office and was presented a Certificate of Election.
FIVE YEAR PLAN UPDATE: Jeff moved, Walt 2nd to approve the Five Year Plan with addition of
possible purchase of monitoring devices to measure wells to study the impact of recharge and LESA project, carried.
Following a discussion of what could be done. Possible purchasing of equipment or helping pay for monitoring of additional wells. Walt moved, Jeff 2nd to meet with Ground Water Group to discuss what the district could do to help financially, carried.
NEW BUSINESS
SWC: District Questionnaire 2/18, Request for Assistance 3/31 Rob reported on RCRDP loans and current
AG IN THE CLASSROOM: Sponsorship ($100 in 2016) Tabled. Would like to work on sponsoring teachers to attend.
BUDGET FOR FY 2017 (July 2017 to June 2018) Tabled
PERSONNEL EVALUATIONS: Admin has completed Mindy’s
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Butte Soil and Water Conservation District may also hold an executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206 (1b)
No formal action will be taken during this session.
Board Members went into executive session (Idaho Code 74.206 (lb) ) to consider employee evaluations
Mark moved, Jeff 2nd to end excecutive session.
PERSONNEL: The district board approved a raise for each employee to be reflected in
District/Employee contracts.
