Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School

SCHEDULE:

8:30 to 10:00 AM - Business to Business Expo

10:00 to 2:00 PM – Business & Community Expo

Set-Up: Saturday morning 6:30 – 8:30 a.m. Any display space not set-up by 8:30 a.m. will be forfeited. Exhibitors may use the Gymnasium and Cafeteria entrances for unloading and loading. Vehicles must be removed after to designated parking areas or be towed.

Event: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Expo opens for Business to Business: 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. Exhibits only for exhibitors, doors locked for the general public.

Expo opens to public: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Doors Open at 10:00 a.m.

Ø  The Cafeteria and Gymnasium entrances of the high school will be open to the general public beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Breakdown: 2 –3 p.m. - All displays must be dismantled and removed by 3 p.m. from the high school. Exhibitors are not permitted to breakdown their exhibits before 2 p.m.

EXHIBIT:

Ø  Tables, table cloths & chairs will be provided by the Chamber.

Ø  Vendors must supply their props, banners or extension cords if electricity is needed.

Ø  Display: Displays must be neat, safe, and look professional.

Ø  Selling: Exhibitors are permitted to sell items directly during the event if they desire. Exhibitors may also give away promotional items.

Ø  Signage: You should provide your own sign or banner to attach to the front of your table only.

No signs or other materials may be affixed in any way to walls or any surfaces of the high school.

Ø  Layout: Exhibitor spaces will be assigned based on the number of exhibitors and types of businesses. A gym layout will be sent to you showing your table location the week of the event.

Ø  Aisles and exits must be kept open and remain clear.

Ø  Electricity: Electrical outlets are limited and are on a first come first serve basis. Please bring your own surge protectors and extension cords for 110volts.

Ø  INTERNET: All exhibitors will have wireless Internet access. Your available wireless connection will be provided for you when you set up.

Ø  NOISE: The use of sound devices, megaphones, loudspeakers or undignified methods of attention is prohibited, where such methods interfere with other exhibitors.

Ø  PRIZE DRAWINGS: Exhibitors will be allowed to have prize drawings. However, the exhibitor is responsible for notifying the winner. Exhibitors are also welcome to give the Chamber a door prize.

Ø  EVENT ATTENDANCE: The event is open and FREE to the general public.

Ø  SMOKING, WEAPONS, ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS: Are strictly prohibited at all times on the entire High School Campus.

Ø  LATEX-FREE FACILITY: No balloons containing latex will be permitted.

Ø  ANIMALS: With the exception of service animals or animals on exhibit from participating animal shelter (with approval from Event Supervisor) no animals will be allowed in the high school.

Ø  FOOD & BEVERAGES: Food vendors must have proper food handling permits from the State of Maine. Non-food vendors may provide “bite size” samples if they desire, but are prohibited from selling any beverages and/or food.

Ø  LIABILITY: The Exhibitor agrees to protect, save and keep The Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce, Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Center and their representatives, employees and agents forever harmless from any and all damages or charges imposed for violation of any law or ordinance, whether occasioned by the negligence of the Exhibitor or the representatives, agents or those persons acting under the express or implied authority of the Exhibitor.
