We also represent foreign companies who wants to undertake energy projects with government agencies such as grid interconnection, supply contracts for diesel engines, waterworks project and the like finance by International Financing Institution (ADB, World Bank, Import / Export Bank of Japan, OECF, etc.)
In 1997, we ventured into new and renewable energy by becoming the distributor of solar water heaters. Later on, we introduced into the Philippine Market the evacuated heat-pipe solar heating system – for large-scale applications. As the demand for energy efficient products increased, we became the distributor of photovoltaic solar panels and caused us to be more involved in rural electrification projects of the Department of Energy and National Power Corporation.

(as available) / FGRI first ventured into NRE technologies in 1995 as a distributor of BP Solar. Today, it maintains a strong presence in the country's Solar photovoltaic business, delivering a total of 476,294 Watt-Peak in solar PV module capacity as of September 30, 2005. Its business extends to the supply and installation of solar photovoltaic systems for village electrification, telecommunications, water-pumping systems, and navigation, among others, for both government and private companies.
To date, FGRI had been involved in various renewable projects initiated by both the government and private sectors. On September 23, 2002, FGRI signed a contract with the island of Batanes' provincial government for the design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of a wind-diesel system for the island. The 180 kW wind-diesel hybrid power plant project of the Batanes provincial government was designed, constructed, and inaugurated last August 7, 2004. This is the first commercially operated wind-diesel hybrid farm connected to the distribution grid in the Philippines. The project envisioned to expand to 600 kW.
