Position Summary:

PointClickCare is excited to invite students and co-ops to apply for an opportunity to join our Corporate Business Continuity team, reporting to the Director, Business Continuity, to assist with building PointClickCare’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program to ensure PointClickCare is prepared when extraordinary circumstances occur.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate may have the opportunity to assist in a variety of BCM initiatives which may include:

  • Assess and reconcile Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) data
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of BCM program plans, including but not limited to business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery, cyber security, and emergency response
  • Participate in the development and execution of BCM related exercises and awareness activities, including but not limited to business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery, cyber security, and emergency response
  • Support the implementation of mass notification platform and tools
  • Support and maintain BCM policies and procedures
  • Monitor and manage informational requests to the Corporate Business Continuity Team
  • Support initiatives of the Corporate Business Continuity department

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery/Crisis Management/Emergency Management/or Cyber Security experience but will consider related experience
  • Technical knowledge (Software Industry)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills with clear, concise writing
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Has High School Diploma/GED (+/- 12 Years)
  • Has completed a minimum of 2 (two) years and will be returning to college/university (full time) upon completion of this work term or requires one final work term to graduate
