The Olympic Sailing events take place between the 29th July – 11th August. The Paralympic sailing events take place from the 1st September – 6th September. During these dates there will be many Olympic Sailing boats out on the water, as well as security boats and other vessels. There will be certain restrictions in place for visiting boats during the games such as vessel movements, speed restrictions and viewing areas. Details can be found on the Portland Port website:
Commercial vessels that use the Port for services such as bunkering, crew and stores transfers will continue to use the harbour as normal during the sailing events.
