“Scientific Conference on Economics and Entrepreneurship”

INVITATION
The Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management of Riga Technical University is arranging the annual international scientific conferencein Riga on 7 October 2011.
The conference will be held at facilities of the Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management of RTU at 1/7 Meža St.
Academic staff of universities, doctoral students, researchers, as well as entrepreneurs, are welcomed to participate in the conference. The working languages of the conference are English, Russian and Latvian.
Conference will be organised in five thematic sections, which corresponds with main research topics of faculty (discussions at plenary session and parallel sections):
- national and regional economics
- production economics, finance and marketing
- real estate economics and building entrepreneurship
- civil and general safety
- international business, logistics, customs and taxes.
The papers of the conference should match the framework of the topic of the conference. Accepted papers will be published in the The Scientific Journal of Riga Technical University». Before the conference, the programme and time-schedule containing further information about the conference will be sent to all participants who have registered in due course.
Important datesand conference pre-schedule
15thAugust, 2011 Submission of registration form and short conference abstract (aprox.1 full A4);
1st September, 2011 Submission of full papers for the Scientific Journal of Riga Technical University;
30th September, 2011 Acceptance of full papers and conference programme;
7th October 1000Conference opening, plenary session;
7th October 1300 – 1800 Workshops and parallel sections according to the programme.

For registration, please send the enclosed registration form and short abstract due August 15, 2011, at the latest, to e-mail and please visit the webpage for further information.
The articles to the Conference shall be written in English or Latvian. The volume of an article is 6-10 pages. Articles will be not edited; therefore Authors are responsible for preparation of articles according to the guidelines (please see also conference articles will be reviewed.

Please state in the registration form if accommodation is needed. In this case, we will send you further information about the accommodation facilities, prices and ways of booking in Riga.
