“THE TRILLEST TOUR”

Houston acts to embark on national tour in March

New York, NY – Legendary Port Arthur, TX rapper Bun B and Houston rising star Kirko Bangz will hit the road in March for a national tour that will touch most US major markets. The Trillest Tour will kick off on March 6 in San Marcos, TX and will wrap on April 17 in Atlanta, GA.

Tickets are now available in each market via TheTrillestTour.com. Fans will also have the ability to purchase Meet & Greet tickets for a special VIP experience during The Trillest Tour.

Bun B’s latest album The Epilogue was released on November 14, 2013. The project is a collection of unreleased tracks that came together during the recording of Trill O.G., the previous critically acclaimed album. The Epilogue features guest appearances by 2Chainz, Rick Ross, Big K.R.I.T., Raekwon, Z-Ro, Devin The Dude, as well as the single Triller featuring Kirko Bangz.

As one half of the legendary Texas rap outfit UGK and after more than two decades in the music industry, Bun B is still considered one of the most influential contemporary rappers. During the past few years he has also developed other important aspects of his career that now include a teaching gig at Houston's prestigious Rice University, where he has joined Dr. Anthony Pinn for an extremely successful Theology course about Religion and Hip Hop culture.

Bun B has also released the Rap Coloring and Activity Book in collaboration with writer/illustrator Shea Serrano. The Rap Coloring Book has been featured in many national media outlets, including Esquire.com, the Houston Chronicle, Rolling Stone, The Village Voice, Vice, MTV, BET, XXL and many more. It has been published by Abrams Books and it’s now available at many national book retailers, including Barnes and Noble.

Last but not least, Bun has joined forces with Premium Pete (writer, fellow sneaker expert and co-host of “The Combat Jack Show”) to launch the successful foodie blog YouGottaEatThis.com (Complex Network).

Kirko Bangz’ major breakthrough single “Drank In My Cup,” is what quickly escalated him to platinum-selling stardom in Spring 2012. The ode to H-town, “Drank In My Cup” went Top Ten on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on Billboard’s Urban chart landing Kirko a spot on the highly coveted 2013 XXL Freshman Cover.

Kirko’s smooth delivery, charm and lyrical quickness have already drawn comparisons to Drake and Lil Wayne; but make no mistake, Kirko Bangz is his own man. However, one quality he does share with those established artists is the dedication that elevated Kirko Bangz from underground mixtapes to a major label.

Kirko released his first mixtape, Procrastination Kills, in 2009 which put him on the map as an up-and-coming force to be reckoned with. In quick secession Kirko came through with a bevy of buzzworthy mixtapes including Progression 2: A Young Texas Playa which introduced “Drank In My Cup” and most recently, Progression 3 which featured the likes of Wale, French Montana, Nipsey Hussle and Paul Wall.

Kirko recently launched a new track from his forthcoming album “Bigger Than Me” which is slated for release this Summer -
