In 1970, we began developing and manufacturing bullet resistant products which offered a whole new concept in this field. Our products were designed with small applications as well as large in mind. We are proud of the fact our products are priced competitively enough to be within the reach of the small businessman. It is not necessary to purchase a complete system from us in order to obtain a certain item. We believe that we have more variety of this type of equipment than any other company. For many years we have been offering service that is unheard of, especially when compared to that of others in this industry. Most of our items are very simple, aesthetically pleasing and practical. Many of our products have been patented. Our research and development is never ending as many of our products are down-to earth solutions to customers' problems.

1.4 SUBMITTALS

A. Submit under provisions of Section 01 30 00 - Administrative Requirements.

B. Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including:

1. Preparation instructions and recommendations.

2. Storage and handling requirements and recommendations.

3. Installation methods.

C. Verification Samples: For each finish product specified, two samples, minimum size 6 inches (150 mm) square, representing actual product, color, and patterns.

D. Manufacturer's Certificates: Certify products meet or exceed specified requirements.

E. Closeout Submittals: Provide manufacturer's maintenance instructions that include recommendations for periodic checking and adjustment periodic cleaning and maintenance of all components.

1.5 QUALITY ASSURANCE

A. Manufacturer Qualifications: Company specializing in manufacturing products of the type specified with a minimum documented experience of five years.

B. Installer Qualifications: Company specializing in installation of products specified with minimum three years documented experience.

1.6 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

B. Store assemblies, off the ground and on end, to prevent damage to face corners and edges.

C. Store assemblies covered to protect them from damage but permitting air circulation.

1.7 SEQUENCING

A. Ensure that locating templates and other information required for installation of products of this section are furnished to affected trades in time to prevent interruption of construction progress.
