Building your Module


This workshop is an introduction to Blackboard, its interface and how to build aBlackboard module. We will be looking at the different areas within the system such astabs,module information and support. Within anexample module wewill see how a module can be laid out and identify how different types of content are displayed by Blackboard, such asWord documents, graphics, PowerPoint slides and pdf’s. Using the module control panel we will go through step by step procedures on how to add content,customise the module look/feel and finally how to make a module available.
This workshop is a hands-on introduction to using the Blackboard software itself, delivered in the computer lab. It is recommended that you have already done thePreparing to go onlineworkshop as you will therefore have already started to plan your module content and layout.
