Dues are now due for this year.

-must be paid by Ocotober meting in order to vote on officers.

Disaster Relief

-Short presentation by Ron Cattrell with a request for a committee to be formed to oversee a disaster relief team.

Monthly teaching and open discussion Subject- Insurance and Background checks.

President Richard Gainey presented information on why we should have insurance and background checks performed. Based on the present state of our society including the fact that many people are very quick to file law suites at the slightest provocation, it is the general viewpoint that we all need to have the protection afforded by getting both. In addition, many corporations hiring us to perform as Santa now require that we provide proof of both.

-All cost about $200 plus the dues for membership in the group

-Gina Bacon with Nationwide Santas is looking for Santas for this season. Information sheets were placed on a table at the front of the room

-The Muskegeon, Michigan Gathering is in August. Exact dates were not provided.
