ALL SCHOOL:
· Student Congress will have a meeting in B109 on Monday, January 9, 2017. The meeting will be from 3:05-3:45.(1/9)
· The Marines and Student Congress would like to extend a big thank you to the students and staff of Charles F. Brush High School for generously donating over 400 toys to Toys for Tots. Mrs. Tatman's class donated the most toys, so they will receive a donut/juice party. Great work!(1/5)
· Office Aide Positions If you are you interested in being an Office Aide during a Semester 2 study hall, see Mrs. Crane in the A-Wing Office for an application. (1/12)
· The French Club will meet today Thursday, January 5, 2017, in B106, from 3:15 to 4:00. This is a semester organizational meeting. Please bring your ideas to share with the group. Madame Thornton will provide other provisions. And remember: please wear your BHS French Club tee-shirts on the meeting days.(1/5)
· Peer Tutoring will take place every Wednesday starting at 7:15 a.m. in the library. Come to Peer Tutoring to get assistance with your school work. Join us each Wednesday for peer tutoring. (1/27)
· MAC Ambassadors there will be a very important meeting after school Monday, January 9, 2017. Location TBA. All Ambassadors must attend or see your MAC Advisor with explanations. (1/9)
· Senior Project Presentation will take place on Friday, January 6th in the PAC for seniors during their Social Studies Classes. (1/6)
· Attention Seniors - It is time to sign up to be a Prom Fashion Show Model. Pick up your application in the Guidance office and turn it in by January 18th. Spots are limited so sign up soon. (1/18)
· Scholarships PTA Council and PTA Scholarships are now open to Seniors only. You can get the forms from guidance or download and print the forms from Naviance. They will be accepted in the guidance office until February 3, 2017. No late forms will be accepted. Your parents must be PTA members, if they are not your scholarship forms must be submitted with a PTSA membership form filled out and $5.00 cash. This is a PTA Scholarship and you must be a member to qualify.(2/3)
· Attention Class 2017!! If you are reading your “Senior Important Information Booklet”, you are aware that we will have our first Senior Class meeting on January 18th. READ THE BOOKLET TO GET INFORMATION ON THE DATE…THE TIME…THE LOCATION…Pick up booklet from Mrs. Sanford if you do not have one!
o This booklet will explain a ton of information for you and your parents regarding your road to Commencement Day! Information included in the booklet explains credits, cost of Cap and Gown, Prom, student fees due dates and Class Meeting dates and times! Stop by before school, during lunch, seminar/study hall or after school.
· Attention first semester Ceramic and Photo students, please come and pick up your work by this Friday January 6th or it will be given away or thrown out. Thank you.(1/5)

We will meet after school every Tuesday and Thursday in the weight room starting on Tuesday, January 10th!

· Track & Field Attention all track and field athletes! Our first track meet is in about two weeks. All interested athletes must come to practice now! Physicals, final forms, fees, and grade reports are due immediately. See coach Shorts in room c114 for details.(1/5)
