  • 1:30pm. -EXCURSION TO TEPOZTLÁN:This is a beautiful, picturesque Indian Village, known for its energy,

magnetism, and healing qualities. You can find a 16th century monastery and a mountain where one can make an hour´s climb to the top reaching the Tepozteco Pyramid. Every weekend in the zócalo there is an artisan market which has beautiful national and international handicrafts.

  • 8:00am. - EXCURSION TO MEXICO CITY: DOLORES OLMEDO MUSEUM AND THE FRIDAKAHLO

MUSEUM: The Dolores Olmedo Museum:Thismuseum contains a large variety of works by Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo. This estate also features an extensive collection of more than 600 prehispanic artifacts from mesoamerican cultures, as well as a variety of personal items belonging to this artist.The Frida Kahlo Museum: Come and take advantage of Frida Kahlo´s house. You will find her work and the majority of her life conserved in her house.

  • 8:00am. - EXCURSIONTO MEXICO CITY: TEMPLO MAYOR &PYRAMIDS OF TEOTIHUACÁN:.

Templo Mayor: Here you can admire the ruins of ancient constructions: the remains of pyramids in their different epochs, the enormous shell carved intoa stone block, ceremonial altars, serpent heads, the stone of the goddess Coyolxauhqui, and different decorative elements.

Pirámides de Teotihuacán: This was the economical, political and religious center of the Teotihuacanes, before the AztecEmpire. It was planned out as many modern cities are today, with a wide main street and drainage system, etc. “The Pyramid ofthe Sun" and “Pyramid of the Moon" are among the most important of many structures that make up this archaeological wonder.

Students living with our host families should consider the following itineraries for their meals:

Breakfast (Desayuno) 7:00am – 8:00am, Lunch (Comida) 3:00pm – 4:00pm, and Dinner (Cena) 8:00pm –

9:00pm. during excursions, host families will provide a sandwich or snacks to go to every participant.
