The month of May was a busy month with many notable successes.

Congratulations and thank you to our P3 4 children who performed so brilliantly at the Storytelling Concert. Thank you also to all the staff who supported and helped with costumes etc.

The Scottish dancers also put on an excellent performance and we are grateful to the dance teacher Miss Michelle Johnston. We are hoping that she will be able to return in September.

Congratulations to the P7 football players who were runners up in the football tournament in Irvinestown. Well done to Jake Browne who won Player of the Tournament.

Congratulations to Dylan Swindle who received first Communion on 21 May.

The Opening of the School Grounds by Mrs Arlene Foster went very well and once again we commend the children on their excellent performance.

Paired Reading

We hope that the P3 – 6 pupils and their parents are enjoying the Paired Reading Programme. Happy Reading!

The P6/7 pupils travelled to Parliament Buildings, Stormont with St Mary’s for a conducted tour of the building. We appreciate the funding from Brookeborough Residents’ Group which enabled us to take the children on this visit.

We are grateful to Riverbrooke Cross Border Initiative for organising two brilliant days for our P5 – P7 pupils at the Share Centre.
