The responsibility of an Account Manager is to grow sales and profits within our Dealer Channel, by managing accounts to corporate growth expectations and performance standards. Responsibilities:
- Develop Dealer Accounts by promoting participation in account development programs, including marketing programs, sales training and following best business practices.
- Develop quarterly and yearly marketing and business plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets for all dealer accounts.
- Analyze dealer financial statements and make recommendations for increasing growth and profitability, as well as identifying course corrections.
- Set Dealer sales goals and hold them accountable to achieve those goals.
- Track account performance based on yearly purchase agreement.
- Maintain productive relationships with assigned Dealer Accounts.
- Visit Dealer sites toverify compliance of company best business practices within all areas of business.
- Conducts periodic training with dealer accounts on sales related activities (inbound & outbound phone calls, events, in home sales), marketing effectiveness, and operational efficiencies.
- Monitor sales activity of individual Dealer Accounts to ensure compliance with all agreement obligations and allcorporate growth objectives.
- Resolves all Dealer challenges and conflicts in conjunction with Customer Care department and Dealer Manager.
- Maintain and update Dealer database with relevant account information including but not limited to mailings, dealer locator, activity notes, data and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Entrepreneurship.
- Minimum five (5) years of proven success in account management with dealers in the building materials industry
- Small business experience highly desirable.
- Demonstrated fiscal responsibility and accountability for independent dealer marketing budgets.
- Have had a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong communication and interactive skill are required
- Proven competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Salesforce CRM experience highly preferred. Proficient in Google Adwords, Facebook, and other social media advertising vehicles.
- Up to 25% overnight travel required.
