4.  Early-bird conference fees (below) are in USD. Please indicate which option you choose:

____ OPTION A: $350 for presentation, professional development workshop, evening reception, and eligibility for awards and publication in a peer-reviewed edited book

____ OPTION B: $200 for attendees with economic circumstances (students, unemployed, or precariously employed). This fee provides the same benefits as option A.

____ OPTION C: $160 for guest attendance, professional development workshop and evening reception.

Notes:

ü  Options A and B furthermore include consideration for the USD$100 CMCS best paper & screen award.

ü  A Windows laptop with PowerPoint, a projector and speakers will be available.

ü  All above fees include catered tea / coffee breaks each day.

ü  The professional development workshop included with options A and B is Scholars as Critics

Papers should be 2400-3600 words main text plus abstract and references. In total, papers should fit within 8-11 pages of the publishing template.
Authors must follow the template and instructions provided. If paper is accepted for publication, a copyright form must be signed by all authors

7.  Panel talks are 15 minutes long followed by 15 minutes of combined questions/discussion per session. Please prepare and time accordingly. The room is booked for a fixed time and speakers who follow you will not have time to present their papers if the schedule slips. A session chair will be monitoring the time. Introductions in workshops will be 5 minutes before Q / A (duration will be determined during programming).

8.  Your talk is to correspond to the abstract that was accepted. Your talk should be engaging, inspiring, and proposing concrete solutions rather than being purely academic and solely discussing issues. Avoid using language specific to a discipline: attendees will come with a wide range of backgrounds.

9.  You commit to a safe environment for all attendees to present innovative ideas. Discussions are to take place in an open, non-judgemental, and constructive manner.
