Andrew Robson is back with us this March for another fantastic day of Bridge tuition! The day will be aimed at a similar level of play, please note Andrew’s sessions are not for beginners, they are as usual aimed at duplicate players and more experienced social players.
Topics for Wednesday 28th March
(1) Bidding Bad Hands - how bad hands can become far better, a very instructive lesson in hand evaluation
(2) Fourth Suit Forcing - a really useful convention for accurate bidding which is often misunderstood
From 9.00am Access into the Country Club
10.00-10.30am Tea/Coffee & pastries served
12.45 - 2.00pm Two course hot buffet lunch (please inform us if you have any dietary requirements)
3.30pm Departure
Andrew will guide you through some fascinating and instructive topics in his customarygenial fashion, designed to reach out to a wide ability of players, bothsocial and duplicate
Andrew will be signing and selling various of his bridge books and flippers throughout each day
We ask that if possible you bring your own bridge table and cloth. We shall have staff on hand to help bring the tables in from the cars if you need assistance. The cost for the day will be £156 per table of four players which includes coffee & pastries upon arrival, a light two course lunch and tuition from Andrew as detailed above, as well as a donation to Warden’s Charitable Trust – a local Charity which Thorpeness is delighted to support.
