Breeding Contract

In One service to TS VIRTUOSO AHR*630984 for the 2016 Breeding season, with services to be provided by Anding Acres Reproduction Center (AARC).

Kim Anding, Anding Acres, AARC, agent for the above named stallion, will herein be referred to as AARC. This service is subject to the following:
1. The following fees are applicable.:
a. A Non-Refundable booking fee of $250.00 is due at signing of this contract.
b. The balance of $500.00 plus shipping fees are payable prior to any shipment of semen.
c. Shipped semen Fees are as follows: Overnight Federal Express $300.00, Air – Counter to Counter $360.00, Farm Pick Up $150.00.
NOTE: Mare owner is responsible for returning the Shipping Container back to AARC at the Mare Owner’s expense via Fed Ex or UPS.
2. A Photocopy of the Mare’s Registration papers (both sides) shall be sent to AARC with this Contract.
3. If mare is boarded at AARC please fill out and sign the attached Mare Boarding Addendum.
4. A live foal is guaranteed from this breeding, should the foal not stand and nurse, the Mare Owner will be entitled to return privileges for the following breeding season. However, the breeding fee and any additional payments for expenses are non-refundable. The return service in the next breeding season is not transferable to another party. Upon the loss of a foal, the Mare Owner shall provide AARC a statement from the attending Veterinarian stating that the mare did not produce a live foal.
a. Mare Owner will be responsible for all additional shipping fees, mare care and a $250.00 Chute Fee.
5. The Breeding Season in force for this contract is February 1st, 2016 to close June 15th, 2016.
6. A Breeders Certificate will be issued to the Mare Owner only after all expenses have been paid in full and upon notification of a live foal.
7. Should the above named mare die, the Mare Owner shall be entitled to breed a substitute mare. If the above mentioned stallion should die or become unfit to breed, breeding fee less the non-refundable booking fee shall be refunded.
8. This contract is not valid unless completed in full. This contract is non-transferable and non-assignable. When signed by both parties, the contract will be binding and subject the above conditions. The contract is entered in the State of Texas and under the Laws of Texas.
9. Semen Collections are performed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. AARC must be notified NO LATER than 7:00 PM Central Standard Time on the day prior to collection to insure availability.
10. If for any reason the Mare Owner has not paid for their balance un full by June 1st, 2015 a service fee of $50.00 per month (starting from month of service) will be added to the outstanding balance and must be paid in full before a Breeders Certificate will be issued.

Mare Boarding Addendum
This Mare Boarding Addendum should only be signed if the Mare Owner will be boarding (the named Mare)
______with AARP for boarding during the 2016 breeding season , under the following conditions.
a. Breeding Contract must be signed and booking fee paid.
b. Mare shall be in healthy and sound breeding condition. Mare Owner understands that all barren mares have a clean uterine culture prior to breeding, either completed before the mare enters the ranch or at the ranch prior to breeding, at the Mare Owners expense. Mare should be de-wormed within 60 days of entering ranch, and should be vaccinated for tetanus, influenza, encephalitis, rhinopneumonitis, and intranasal strangles.
c. Proof of Negative Coggins test, within 12 months shall accompany the mare entering the ranch. In addition you must provide a Health Certificate, Uterine Culture, and de-worming certificates. If any of the required test do not accompany the mare at time of entry, then AARC will have the test/s and or vaccination performed at the Mare Owners expense.
d. In the event of an emergency, we will make every effort to contact the Mare Owner to get his or hers consent for treatment, but in the event we cannot contact the Mare Owner we will make a judgment call in the best interest of the Mare at the Mare Owner’s expense.
e. It is understood that neither the Stallion Owner, Anding Acres Reproduction Center, Jason or Kim Anding, employees, guests or Veterinarian will be responsible for accident, sickness or death of the Mare and or Mare and Foal. AARC will exercise its best judgment in the care and supervision of the mare and shall not be liable for death, injury, or sickness of the mare and or mare and foal.
f. Mare Owner agrees to pay the following:
Dry Mares $22.00 per day Wet Mares $24.00 per day Show Barn $33.00 per day
