Target Audience
This program has been designed for departmental/institutional faculty, community physicians, fellows, residents, medical students, nurses, allied health professionals, oncology social work, cancer registry in the medical specialties of surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, internal medicine, pulmonary, and gastroenterology.
Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Coordinate treatment between surgical and medical oncologic specialists for best outcomes
- Apply most current diagnostic tests to obtain results which assure the proper final diagnosis attained and the best treatment strategy planned
- Properly stage patients with cancer and follow the appropriate NCCN treatment guidelines for best patient care management
