*Boy's basketball team will be having try-outs onMonday, September 28during lunch in the old gym. This will be theonlytry-out unless you are currently in a fall sport. See Mr. Yoshimura in room 1105 if you have any questions
*Homecoming 2015 are on sale. Tickets are $50 with an ASB Sticker and $65 without an ASB Sticker. After today, prices will change to $50 with an ASB Sticker and $70 without an ASB Sticker. Guest passes are available now. You are required to have an approved guest pass before you purchase tickets for your guests. Sorry, no exceptions. ASB Discounts are reserved only for students who have purchased an ASB Sticker for the current year.
*There will be girls soccer tryouts onMonday 9/28at lunch on the soccer field next to the tennis courts. This will also be a one day tryout so get out there as soon as possible. See Coach Gardner in room 810 for any questions.
*Attention seniors and juniors: A representative from the University of Florida will be in the career center during 1st lunch only. Next week, onMonday, September 28, a representative from the University of California, Santa Barbara will be in the career center after school from3PM-4PMto meet with any and all students interested in applying to UCSB. Then, onTuesday, September 29, a representative from St. John'sUniversity in New York will be by during 2nd lunch.
*Attention students, Tiger Tutoring for all subjects runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from3-4pmin the library. Students who ride the bus will be able to catch a late bus at4:15pmin the front of the school. We hope to see you there!
*Opportunity for community service hours. Valencia’s band will be hosting a band competition on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 from noon to 11PM at Bradford Stadium and volunteers are needed. This is an excellent opportunity to get some service hours and listen to great music. If you work 4 hours, a free meal will be provided. Please sign up in the administration office or the library.

*FREE PIZZA and a movie! -- Everyone is welcome to join us in Mr. Chung's room, # 401,today after school. FCA, Impact Club, and Students for Life are sponsoring the feature-length film, "The Drop Box." It's the story of a Korean Pastor who decides to begin rescuing abandoned newborn babies. We'll take a break in the middle for Rosa's Pizza. That'stoday,3-5 p.m.in room # 401, free pizza and a movie.
