Boy Scout Leader Training You Need

Check off your training – or write in your training plan!
 YPT (Youth Protection Training) is required every calendar year. You can take YPT on-line in your MyScouting account, or come to live training at 6:30 before Roundtable on Oct 6, 2016, Feb 2, 2017, June 1, 2017.
 Scoutmaster & Assistant Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training gives you the tools and information to deliver a good program.
 In-person Training is scheduled in extended Roundtable breakout sessions over two months:
* Thursday. Sept 8 Part 1
* Thursday, Oct 6 Part 2
 Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) is required to take Boy Scouts camping. It is a Friday-Saturday training that includes overnight camping. Watch website for info and sign-up.
* March 3-4, 2017 Tentative
 Wilderness First Aid Training is 16-hour certification required for at least one leader when scouts are more than one hour from medical care. Sign-up required.
* Friday, February 10 6:00-9:00 pm
* Saturday, February 11 8:30-5:00 pm
* Saturday, February 25 8:30-5:00 pm / /

Tri-District Fall CamporeeFriday – Sunday, September 16-18Sheepshead Mountain Recreation Area outside Butte is the location. An amazing opportunity to be with Scouts from Prickly Pear and Vigilante.
