2.  Roundtable: DAB committee members/proxies in attendance went around the room and provided feedback from their constituents on promos BGSU Dining held i.e. Easter Brunch, etc. The consensus was that Easter Brunch was well done by Dining and had a good mix of members of the BG community, staff and students. Discussion followed.

·  H. Sanderson provided S. Meyer a copy of their campus-wide survey conducted by the Vegan Club.

·  S. Syoen and B. Lippian shared customer service issues experienced at the Black Swamp Pub. M. Paulus reported tables are held for reservations that do not show up. S. Swinford suggested a short-term call-in be considered. N. Joseph will follow-up with the General Manager at the Pub on their policy for splitting ticket food orders.

·  B. Lippian reported the Mondo’s Subs at Kreischer Sundial on Saturdays offers only wraps and not the full menu options. Discussion followed. N. Joseph requested students address their concerns directly with the manager on duty. B. Lippian requested Mr. Pib be offered at the AYCE facilities.

·  Rodrigo Patterson reported friends expressed interest in additional outside seating at the BTSU, offering a Mexican food concept, having a pasta bar at Carillon Place (CP) and The Oaks. M. Paulus stated a few years ago the Falcon’s Nest did offer a Mexican concept, but that sales really fell off. Chef Pat stated Mexican as well as other ethnic dishes are offered throughout the year at Kreischer and both AYCE dining centers.

·  E. Johnson reported positive feedback from her constituents on BGSU Dining’s menu for the April 13th African Peoples Association dinner. M. Paulus shared the reasoning behind the University’s decision to no longer permit third party caters on-campus. E. Johnson mentioned her constituents would like to see more vegetarian entrée options at CP and The Oaks. Discussion followed. Chef Pat stated Dining strives to offer vegetarian entrées at both locations and suggested students check the online menus under each dining location.

·  I. Lee reported he had noticed BGSU Dining had offered Passover style menu options at Carillon Place. N. Joseph stated Passover options were also offered at Kreischer Sundial and that BGSU Dining has helped students and faculty follow Passover dietary guidelines on campus for over 20 years. I. Lee gave kudos to catering for their hard work and quick turnaround at the TRIO event.

·  F. Yingling thanked everyone for their collaboration with the Wellness Connection and supporting healthy lifestyle behaviors through programming with the sororities and partnering with the Counseling Center. She highlighted a few upcoming events.

·  B. Leigh reported on the positive changes and value of DAB committee members have had on BGSU Dining.

3.  S. Meyer reported Midnight Breakfast will be on Sunday, April 28th from 10pm – 1 am at The Oaks. She highlighted a few collaborative efforts between the BTSU and The Oaks throughout the day. S. Riegle sent an invitation to DAB members to assist with this semester’s Midnight Breakfast.

4.  S. Meyer announced the First Year Welcome Picnic luncheon is Sunday, August 25th and suggested committee members volunteer. To sign-up as a volunteer and receive a free T-shirt, visit the sign-up page at https://reslife.bgsu.edu/forms/volunteer-convocation.php

6.  M. Paulus indicated Dining is reviewing current concepts along with hours of operations at Kreischer and the Outtakes location as the residential population and traffic patterns at that end of campus decline. Discussion followed. M. Paulus stated he would provide additional information ASAP.

·  M. Paulus and B. Leigh thanked Susan Swinford for serving as the DAB chairperson for the past five years. M. Paulus presented S. Swinford with a BGSU Dining pullover. S. Swinford thanked everyone and presented S. Sickler (new DAB chairperson) with a special Dining DAB Chairperson colander.

·  S. Swinford wished all the students well during exams and best of luck to those graduating. J
