Testing
The state CAASP testing, California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress, will start on Monday, May 1 and run throughout the month of May. Students will be tested in both Mathematics and English language arts during a 5 day testing window within the month of May. 6th grade testing is May 1-12, 7th and 8th grade testing is May 15-26.
It is very important that students get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast and are on time to school each day during the testing window. Thank you for your support.

The Latinos Del Futuro Scholarship Interviews will be held on campus at Borel Middle School on May 2, 2017. All students who applied for the scholarship will be interviewed by a scholarship committee. The interviews will begin at 9am. Students will receive a pass from the office to indicate when they should come down to the office for their scheduled interview. If you have any questions, please reach out to counselor, Ms. Wharton, at 638-7036.
The Borel Bands and Orchestras will be performing at the CMEA Festival on Saturday, May 13th at Archbishop Riordan High School n San Francisco from 7:30am-1pm. The concerts are free and open to the public!

Examinaciones:
Los exámenes estatales CAASP, Evaluación de Rendimiento y Progreso del estudiante de California, empezara el 1 de Mayo y continuara todo el mes de Mayo. Los estudiantes serán examinados en ambos matemáticas y artes del lenguaje de Ingles durante un periodo de 5 días en el mes de Mayo. El examen de 6º grado será durante Mayo 1-12; 7º y 8º grado serán examinados en Mayo 15-26. Es muy importante que todos los estudiantes tengan una buena noche de sueño, coman un desayuno saludable y sean puntuales cada día durante los días que serán examinados. Gracias por su apoyo.

Necesitamos padres voluntarios para el baile de promoción de 8º grado, está previsto para la noche de Junio 12, 2017 (7-10pm) Tradicionalmente, los padres de 7º grado se anotan para ser voluntarios de esta noche de celebración especial . El tener a los padres de 7º grado en este evento no solo les permite aprender que tipo de fiesta de promoción tendrán que organizar el próximo ano para la clase de 2018, pero también les libra a los estudiantes la pena de que sus padres estén en el baile.
Padres de 8º Grado, por favor ANOTENSE para ayudar a decorar el gimnasio a una hora que sea conveniente en Junio 9, 10, y 11. También necesitamos padres de 8º grado para que ayuden a limpiar el gimnasio el 13 de Junio.
