BOOtanica! Fall Festival and Plant Sale at San Antonio Botanical Garden
San Antonio, TX; October 2014– It’s time for BOOtanica! at the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Join us on Saturday, October 25, 10 am to 2 pm, for this annual event that celebrates the fall season and Halloween in a fun atmosphere suitable for even the smallest kiddos.
Visitors to BOOtanica! will be able to play and learn in a variety of fun events for the whole family, including children’s costume parades, live animals, Chipotle film, Microsoft Store activity and the Garden’s last plant sale of the year! Thanks to H-E-B, all guests will enjoy $2 off admission to the Garden during the event. And, thanks to H-E-B, guests will see and sample Day of the Dead and Halloween cakes and cupcakes. H-E-Buddy will be on hand to celebrate and pass out Halloween goodie bags to kids to help them prepare for Halloween!

For local gardeners the last plant sale of the year will be on Saturday, October 25,from 10 am to 2 pm. There are thousands of San Antonio-friendly plants and hundreds of varieties! Gallon pots are $8 and large pots are $15. You’ll also get a discount for quantities of 5 pots or more.
BOOtanica! is also the time to ask questions at our Master Gardener information booth. Get the best advice from expert gardeners in a one-on-one setting. We’ll also have a WaterSaver gardening display. See exactly how you can have a beautiful yard and save on our precious resource.
All activities are free with paid admission to the Botanical Garden. Thanks to H-E-B, all guests will enjoy $2 off admission on October 25. Daily admission to the San Antonio Botanical Garden is $10 adults; $8 students, seniors, military; $7 children age 3-13. San Antonio Botanical Garden is located at 555 Funston Place at North New Braunfels. Parking is free. The Botanical Garden is operated under the auspices of the City of San Antonio Department of Parks & Recreation and is open year-round except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
