BOOKING CONDITIONS AND PAYMENT PROCESS

  1. Booking Form: Completion, return and Marle Hall’s acknowledgment of this Booking Form (MH1R) commits you to payment of a 20% non-refundable deposit. Cleared payment of the deposit guarantees your booking date and numbers.
  1. Booking Confirmation Email:On receipt of this Booking Form we will send you a Booking Confirmation Email to acknowledge acceptance of your booking. Contract is formed between you and Marle Hall with the sending of this email. The Booking Confirmation Email should be checked thoroughly to ensure it accurately reflects the details of your booking.
  1. Nine Months Prior to Your Course: We will invoice you for a 20% non-refundable deposit. The deposit is calculated at 20% of the basic course fee (cost per person x the minimum number of participants), but excluding any additional services required (see 4 below). Bookings made less than nine months prior to your course will automatically be invoiced immediately for the 20% non-refundable deposit.

Payment is due within 21 days of the invoice date and payment details are included on the invoice.

  1. Four Months Prior to Your Course:We will send you a Course Confirmation Email, which must be completed and returned to the Centre within seven days. You must give your final numbers, outline your programme needs and include any extra services required. Details submitted in the Course Confirmation Email will form the basis of the final planning for your course, as well as for your final invoice. If you fail to respond to the Course Confirmation Email prior to the Eight Week invoice date deadline (see 5 below) you will be invoiced for the minimum numbers given on your Booking Form.

If your participant numbers reduce after returning the Course Confirmation Email but before the raising of your final invoice (at Eight Weeks), you will be liable for a minimum of 90% of the numbers as detailed in the Course Confirmation Email. It is your responsibility to inform us, in writing, of any changes in numbers after returning the Course Confirmation Email.

  1. Eight Weeks Prior to Your Course: Final paymentis due. We will send you an invoice for the balance, including any extra services booked, which must be paid, in full, within 21 days. If your numbers reduce after this date (eight weeks prior to course commencement) you will remain liable for the full course cost as invoiced.

If your numbers increase after the final invoice has been raised, or if additional costs ensue, a supplementary invoice will be raised and must be paid within 21 days of receipt.

If your initial booking is made within eight weeks prior to commencement of your course, the entire cost, including any extra services booked, is due immediately.

Refunds:We are sorry but we are unable to refund monies once an invoice has been raised. Reimbursement for non-attendance through illness, etc should be claimed back through insurance. We would therefore advise you to take out appropriate insurance to cover such eventualities.

Cancellation by You:All cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by Marle Hall. If you have to cancel your course completely once you have made a booking, the same timescales and charges as shown above will apply. This means:

Up toFour Months before course commencement:loss of the 20% non-refundable deposit.

Four Months to Eight Weeks before course commencement:loss of 90% of the basic course fee.

Less than Eight Weeks before course commencement:loss of 100% of the basic course fee.

Cancellation by Marle Hall: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your course due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you either alternative, mutually agreeable dates, or a full refund of any monies paid.

Force Majeure: Marle Hall shall have no liability in respect of any delay or failure in delivery of any of the courses or of any of Marle Hall’s other obligations due directly or indirectly to any cause outside of Marle Hall’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: act of God, war, invasion, rebellion, riot, civil commotion, disorder, malicious damage, fire, flood, epidemic, quarantine restriction, strikes or other industrial disputes, unusually severe weather or disruption of energy supplies.

We hope these booking conditions will enable you and us to successfullyplan for your visit well in advance. We look forward to your stay here at Marle Hall and thank you for your support and understanding.
