The main focus of this event will be to shape Envision’s next campaign which will look at access to employment for blind and partially sighted young people. What are the barriers, how we overcome them and what we need to say to decision-makers. In particular, you will have the chance to share your views and experiences with a smaller delegation of members who will be visiting parliament the following day, representing Envision, to discuss this issue with key politicians. This is your chance to make sure your views are heard.
In addition, we will also be offering campaign skills training including engaging with MPs, working with media, how to design an effective campaign etc.
