Holiday Concert

The Preschool will participate in the Holiday Concert on Thursday December 8th at 5:45 p.m. in the High School Gym. Parents, friends, and relatives are encouraged to attend. The students will need to be at the school at 5:20. Preschool will meet in the elementary breezeway so parents can take children’s coats with them to the concert. Please dress your best for this occasion. Please dress in Christmas colors green, red, gold, silver, and white. Boys should wear black trousers/ pants no blue jeans please (Khaki’s are also acceptable please use your own judgment when selecting attire; dress your best for the occasion). After singing preschool students will be returned to their parents for the remainder of the concert, due to their short attention spans. All other grade levels will remain with their classes until the conclusion of the event. Please let me know if you have any other questions, Thank You.

Book Exchange/ Pajama Popcorn Day

We will be having a book exchange on Tuesday, December 20th with a Pajama Popcorn Day.

(Books for the book exchange need to be new and age appropriate. Thank You)

We will be doing several fun activities throughout the day with the children.

Books for the Book Exchange are due NO LATER than December 16th.

Calendar/Schedule

Please let me know if you would like help signing up for Text Cast Notification for Milan C-2 Schools preschool is grouped under Elementary.

The Milan C-2 Preschool follows the same calendar as the Milan C-2 school district. All vacation days, snow days, late starts, and early dismissals will be determined by the school district. Any closings due to severe weather will be announced on the radio.

Tuition:

You will be charged for every day that school is in session, regardless of attendance. There will be no partial charges for short days such as late starts, early dismissals or if a child arrives late or leaves early. Every day will be based on a full day fee. Payments made for snow days will be credited to a future school day.

Outdoor Play:

Please dress your child appropriately for the weather. Children should provide their own gloves/mittens, warm hood/hat, and warm boots when appropriate for the weather. When sending your child in snow boots please send tennis shoes to wear inside the building. (Please send extra shoes for your child to wear inside when there is snow on the ground they can be stored in their backpacks or left in their cubbies for easy access.) Also, please be sure that your child has an extra winter set of clothes at preschool including socks. Just in case, their clothes get excessively wet while playing in the snow.

We cannot accept notes to keep children inside. All children will stay in or go out together. All staff will have to be outside when it is recess. Outdoor play will occur unless the conditions are extreme.
