Boarding terms and conditions

. It is important that you provide us with all details required on the booking forms

. A booking fee of £25.00 per cat must be sent with your booking forms when confirming your booking. Please write your name / cats name / and the dates of boarding on the back of the cheque. This will be deducted from your boarding fee. If you cancel you lose your booking fee.

. All boarding fee must be settled on your arrival day .

. If you stay is less than the £50.00 please can you send the full amount as your booking fee.

  • Please phone for provisional booking first, then return the booking form with the booking fee. We will hold the booking open for one week from the time of booking to give you cjance to send the booking forms back to us with the deposit.Failure to do this and your booking will be cancelled.
  • We regret, that unless we receive 14 days written notice in (14 days is the 14 days prior to your original booking) of any changes to your cats boarding dates or a cancellation, we will charge you for the full cost of cats intended stay.We only except cash or cheque and accounts must be settled on the day of boarding. We do not accept credit or debit cards.
  • There is a minimum fee of 7 days/night boarding at Christmas/ New Year/ Easter / Bank Holidays and through July and August. The rest of the year there is a minimum fee of 3 days/ nights.
  • Cats must be inoculated against feline enteritis and flu. Inoculation certificates for both, issued in the last 12 months, must be shown every timeon the day of boarding. The initial vaccination injection must not be less than 14 days, and booster injection not less than 3 days, prior to boarding. In the interest of health and hygiene, no cat will be accepted without vaccination certificates.
  • Your cats must be wormed and flea treated (even if cats do not go out) before boarding at Convivial cats. Treatment must be from the vets or recommended by the vets and proof may be asked for.
  • We regret that the management reserve the right to refuse any cats to board at the cattery should their opinion be that they are suffering from infection or is unfit for boarding.
  • If you cancel because your cats are in ill health or are not vaccinated or we have refused admittance due to cats not being vaccinated or ill heath you will lose your booking fee and may be liable for paying the full boarding amount.
  • All reasonable care and attention will be given to each individual cat that is boarded with us. We reserve the right to consult a vet at the owner’s expense if needed. There will be a charge of ₤15 if your cat(s) is taken to the vet.
  • We do not provide a grooming service, however, time permitting we will groom your cat if the equipment is supplied. (Not guaranteed)
  • Un-neutered toms (over 6 months old) cannot be accepted
  • Please ensure you transport your cat(s) in a secure carrier
  • Prices are charged at per night with collection before 12:00pm,(mid day) or another night will be charged.In our winter hours the collection time must be no later than 11:00am.
  • Please bring a bed(s) or bedding for your cat(s). Please make sure your name is on any bedding. It is the owners responsibility to make sure that all the cats belongings beds/ toys / bowls etc are collected when you collect your cat from Convivial Cats. Convivial Cats will not take any responsibility or be held liable should the bedding be lost or if it goes missing.
  • Bowls are not required, but should you wish to bring water or dry food bowls please make sure they are plastic. Also, if you bring own dry food for your cat please make sure it is provided in plastic containers. Wet cat food in tins or pouches is fine.
  • If someone other than the owner is collecting the cat/s, then a letter of authorization needs to be left with your booking form
  • Please note, once we have received your booking form your booking is confirmed. We do not send out additional confirmation.
  • Please bring your cat(s) in HALF AN HOUR before we close, this will enable us time to go through the paper work with you and give you time to settle them in
  • We are closed Sunday & Bank Holiday.
