SREDA Board Meeting
October 18, 2016
Saint Alphonsus – Ontario, OR
Members Present: Patrick Nauman, Jeff Williams, Randy Griffin, Sandy Hemenway, Ron Verini, Ken Bishop, Adam Brown, Harry Flock, Jeff Hafer, Rick LaHuis, Sean Hackett, Abby Lee, Andy Oyervides, and Jim Smith
Staff: Kit Kamo, Executive Director
1. Chairman Nauman opened the Board of Directors meeting immediately following the annual meeting for nomination and election of new SREDA Officers. Patrick stated the first position up for election was for Treasurer. Sandy Hemenway was nominated and nominations were closed. Ken Bishop made a motion to approve Sandy Hemenway as Treasure for SREDA seconded by Rick LaHuis. The motion passed unanimously.
2. Chairman Nauman then stated the next position to nominate and vote on was for the SREDA Secretary. Randy Griffin was nominated and nominations were closed. Ken Bishop made a motion to approve Randy Griffin as SREDA Secretary seconded by Abby Lee. The motion passed unanimously.
3. Next Chairman Nauman said we would be nominating and voting on the position of Vice Chairman. Payette Mayor Jeff Williams was nominated and again nominations were closed. Ken Bishop made a motion to approve Jeff Williams as the Vice Chairman of SREDA seconded by Harry Flock. The motion passed unanimously.
4. And lastly, Chairman Nauman ask for the position of SREDA Chairman to be nominated and voted on. Without hesitation, Patrick Nauman was nominated and again nominations were immediately closed. Ron Verini made a motion to approve Patrick Nauman as Chairman of SREDA seconded by Jim Smith. The motion passed unanimously.
5. Newly elected Nauman then adjourned the open board meeting.
Our next meeting will be on November 2, 2016 at the Payette County Fairgrounds, 4-H Building in New Plymouth, ID at 7:00 a.m.
