A)  APPROVE FEES FOR SCHS STUDENTS TO ATTEND DECA COMPETITION: Recommendation: Board approve the implementation a fee not exceeding $600.00 for SCHS students participating in the DECA Competition in Atlanta, May 2-7, 2014.

A)  APPROVE COMMON CARRIER TO TRANSPORT ELKHORN CROSSING SCHOOL STUDENTS TO LOS ANGELES, CA: Recommendation: Board approve the use of common carrier services (Delta) to provide transportation for Elkhorn Crossing students, to and from Los Angeles, California on April 22-27, 2014, due to the distance of the trip.

B)  APPROVE COMMON CARRIER TO TRANSPORT ELKHORN CROSSING SCHOOL STUDENTS TO LEXINGTON, KY: Recommendation: Board approve the use of common carrier services (Miller Transportation) to provide transportation for Elkhorn Crossing students, to and from Lexington, KY on April 21, 2014 due to the lack of availability for district buses.

C)  APPROVE COMMON CARRIER TO TRANSPORT ELKHORN CROSSING SCHOOL STUDENTS TO LOUISVILLE, KY: Recommendation: Board approve the use of common carrier services (Miller Transportation) to provide transportation for Elkhorn Crossing students, to and from Louisville, KY on May 7, 2014 due to the lack of availability for district buses.

D)  APPROVE COMMON CARRIER TO TRANSPORT ELKHORN CROSSING SCHOOL STUDENTS TO SAN DIEGO, CA: Recommendation: Board approve the use of common carrier services (American Eagle Airlines) to provide transportation for Elkhorn Crossing students, to and from San Diego, CA April 26-30, 2014 due to the distance of the trip.

E)  APPROVE COMMON CARRIER TO TRANSPORT SCOTT COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO ATLANTA, GA: Recommendation: Board approve the use of common carrier services (Delta Airlines) to provide transportation for Scott County High School students, to and from Atlanta, GA on May 2-7, 2014 due to the distance of the trip.

F)  APPROVE COMMON CARRIER TO TRANSPORT GIFTED & TALENTED STUDENTS TO LOUISVILLE, KY: Recommendation: Board approve the use of common carrier services (Miller Transportation) to provide transportation for Gifted & Talented students, to and from Louisville, KY on May 30, 2014 due to the length and nature of the trip.

G)  APPROVE COMMON CARRIER TO TRANSPORT GEORGETOWN MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS TO CINCINNATI, OH: Recommendation: Board approve the use of common carrier services (Miller Transportation) to provide transportation for Georgetown Middle School students, to and from Cincinnati, OH on June 4, 2014 due to the length and nature of the trip.

A)  APPROVE DONATION TO ANNE MASON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:

Recommendation: Board approve donation exceeding $100.00 from Shonie Justice to the benefit of the 5th grade field trip to Camp Cambpell Gard on April 16-18, 2014.

B)  APPROVE DONATION TO WESTERN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Recommendation: Board approve the donation of student communication folders valued at approximately $875.00 from White Greer & Maggard for the benefit of the Western Elementary School.

A)  APPROVE THE TARGET EARLY LITERACY GRANT FOR THE BENEFIT OF LEMONS MILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Recommendation: Board approve the Target Early Literacy Grant, the amount not exceeding $2,000.00 to the benefit of Lemons Mill Elementary School per the attached.

B)  APPROVE THE TARGET ARTS & HUMANITIES GRANT FOR THE BENEFIT OF LEMONS MILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Recommendation: Board approve the Target Arts & Humanities Grant, the amount not exceeding $2,000.00 to the benefit of Lemons Mill Elementary School per the attached.

C)  APPROVE THE READING FOR RECOVERY GRANT FOR THE BENEFIT OF LEMONS MILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Recommendation: Board approve the Reading Recovery: Scaling Up What Works Investing in Education (i3) Grant to the benefit of Lemons Mill Elementary School per the attached.

D)  APPROVE THE BLUEGRASS PIPELINE GRANT FOR THE BENEFIT OF SCOTT COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL: Recommendation: Board approve the Bluegrass Pipeline Grant, not exceeding $25,000.00 to the benefit of Scott County Middle School per the attached.
