Dear Ms. Urbina:

The Information Management Unit (IMU) oftheSoutheast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Center for Educational Innovation and Technology (SEAMEO INNOTECH) isdeveloping a websitefor the “Regional Consultation Meeting on Education and Resilience in East Asia and the Pacific: Programmes and Policies that Promote Social Cohesion and Comprehensive School Safety.”Relative to this, the Center is engaging your services as GRAPHICS/WEB DESINGERfor the website development, under the following terms and conditions:

Job Description:

  • Create a website with the domainname,
  • Use existing template and CMS structure (based on IC 2012 website, greeningsea.com)
  • Input new content and update each page for a year

Scope:

  • Website update - content and database update
  • Domain name registration and web hosting - one (1) year

The following remuneration is provided:

  • Php12,000.00 (subject to 15% withholding tax) for the website development in accordance to the quality standards of the Center.
  • Php 2,500.00 monthly payment for the content update and maintenance.

Timeline:

  • Development starts when all content files have been provided
  • 1 to 2 weeks for the entire development, which includes the following tasks:

(1) Database setup; (2) Front-end setup; (3) Content update; and(4) Online preview.

Online Preview & Client Approval:

  • Online preview includes all updated content and working links
  • Client to check, proofread and double-check all content (text and images)
  • Revisions on text/images (if applicable)
  • Domainnameregistration upon final approval of the website

Terms:

  • There shall be 50% downpayment before proceeding with the project.The remaining balance shall be paid upon completion of the whole project, which is the online launching of the website.
  • Content updates can be made anytime whenever the client has available materials to submit. Payment for the content update and maintenance shall be made on the last week of each month.

All services provided by the Graphics/Web Designer shall not communicate, publish, release of any information or data acquired during the engagement at the Center. All reports, notes, drawings, specifications, statistics, plans, and other documents and data compiled or made while performing the services shall become property of the Center. [A1]

All services provided by the Graphics/Web Designer shall be for the exclusive use of SEAMEO INNOTECH. Upon full payment, copyrights for all reports, notes, drawings, specifications, statistics, plans, and other documents and data compiled and made while under contract shall remain with SEAMEO INNOTECH.

There shall be no employee-employer relationship between the Graphics/Web Desinger and the Center.

It is understood that the services of the Graphic/Web Designer may be terminated anytime based on the following:

  • discretion of the appointing authority;
  • failure to meet the objectives of this contract; and /or
  • any violation of the contract or the rules and regulations of the Center.
