Richard Caputo, President of the Board of School Directors, called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Roll call was answered by nine members. Those in attendance were:

Motion (Mr. Barsottini, seconded by Mr. Emge) to make the proposed preliminary budget available for public inspection no later than January 23, 2009 with recommendation that public notice of the intention to adopt the preliminary budget be published in the Beaver County Ties no later than February 2, 2009.

Motion (Mr. Klein, seconded by Mrs. Lambert) to retain the services of Attorney Daniel R. Delaney of Dickie McCamey as Special Labor Counsel to be compensated at the hourly rate of $200.00.
