All students are required to comply with the Student Handbook and the Business Information Technology Policies and Procedures.

I have read and understand the Business Information Technology Policies and Procedures. It is further understood that particular attention has been given to:

It is agreed and understood that non-compliance with student requirements may result in a request for withdrawal or dismissal.

It is further agreed that I have read and understood the guidelines set forth in the BITE Student Handbook for 2016-2017 school year and will abide by these guidelines and those set in the Geary Schools Student Handbook.

BMITE Program Equipment Use/Check-Out Contract

This form assigns primary responsibility for Geary Public Schools equipment to the borrower. The borrower will be responsible for taking the necessary precautions to protect the equipment and to store it in a manner that provides adequate protection when it is not in use, thus not subjecting the equipment to possible theft or damage.

  1. The borrower will be responsible to return the equipment in like condition as received.
  2. The borrower will be responsible for repairs to the equipment.
  3. Students are not permitted to place any ornamental stickers on equipment. Screensavers, images, videos, music, APPS, internet usage, documents, and other digital content are expected to be appropriate as per school guidelines and only if school related.
  4. Students must take responsibility for having the equipment charged if being used in class.
  5. Equipment cannot be loaned or transferred to a third party.
  6. The borrower cannot modify the equipment in any way without written approval of the district/teacher.
  7. Students are not to lend their equipment to friends under any circumstances. No student may take another student’s equipment. Students are not to touch, use or alter another student’s equipment in any manner.
  8. The borrower will make the equipment available at any time as requested by the district/teacher.
  9. If loss or damage to the equipment/property occurs, the borrower may be held financially responsible for the repair or replacement of the item(s).
  10. Do not leave equipment in vehicles where there is a threat of theft and damage due to temperature.

Items will be added/removed throughout the year. Prices change based on current pricing.
