About the Camps
All Skills Camp: These camps are dedicated to the development and improvement of all levels of volleyball players both girls and boys. Individual volleyball skills will be covered through drills and game-like workouts. The daily structure will provide challenging and fun small group instruction by members of the coaching staff and collegiate players. Games, competition and awards will be incorporated throughout the clinic. Clinic 3 can accept 6th grade with approval, please call 913-422-0581.
Setter, Defensive & Hitter Clinic: Position specific training will offer many reps and instruction in a small group setting for their particular position. Each player will be evaluated and challenged to improve their present skill.
About the Instructors
Gwenn Pike and Kathleen Ludwig will be directing and coaching this years’ clinic. Kathleen Ludwig took over the Head Coach position at Bishop Miege in 2016. During her first season the Stags qualified and finished 2nd at the Kansas 4A-1 State. Coach Ludwig delivered 3 prior state championships as assistant to Gwenn Pike during 2013-2015. Kathleen is a Miege Alumni, VB State Champion herself, Evelyn Gates Award Winner and K-State VB standout.
Gwenn Pike retired as the Miege High School Head in 2016 but continues to direct and coach with KC Power VB Club. As the Miege Head Coach, she and her teams accumulated 21 State Championships and over 1200 wins in 36 years. Coach Pike was named the 2016 National High School Coach of the year during her last season at Miege. Miege currently holds the record of 24 VB State Championships more than any Kansas HS VB Program. Staying involved with KC Power VB Club (teams ranging from 11-18) allows Coach Pike to work with great coaches and athletes from the Kansas City area. They compete locally and nationally with great success.
Bishop Miege and KC Power VB Club alumni and coaches will also work the camp. The coaching staffs experience and passion adds great technical instruction, fun, motivation and discipline while teaching the skills and game.

Daily Attire
Shorts, T-shirt, good shoes, kneepads, water bottle.
Bring a Sack lunch for the full day camp (refrigeration is available).

1. Complete One form per applicant - $50 deposit or payment in full is due with each mail in application.
- Any Existing Balances are due the first day of Clinic.
- Enroll Early - Class Size in Limited
- Registration Deadline: May 15, 2017
- Walk-In Registrations are welcome if the clinic is not full. Call after May15 for availability.
- In the event you need to cancel prior to the start of the clinic, all money will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee.
