Dear Interested Runner and Parents,
The time is here to start training for the upcoming high school and middle school season. The success that the girls’ and boys’ cross country program has had in the past is because of the hard work and training that was done in the summer. Summer training includes local road races and Sunday runs to our schedule (Captains and upperclassmen will organize the Sunday runs). The program is also asking that each team member join the Dallas Running Club (DRC) for only $25. This will include free races over the summer which are listed below. Please go to www.dallasrunningclub.com to join the club.
Cross country workouts begin June 6, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. at Bishop Dunne Catholic School. Middle school runners must register for the Running/Speed/Agility camp in order to participate in the summer workout sessions. Register online at http://www.bdcs.org/summer17/summer-programs. The rest of the workout schedule is below. Cross country training is open and available to registered Bishop Dunne student athletes only. All athletes are required to have a current physical exam (within one year) before they can practice and/or participate in the workouts.
