Bisexual Book Awards Announces Finalists

New York NY:The Bi Writers Association(BWA) announcestoday the finalists for ourFourth Annual Bisexual Book Awards in nine book categories: Non-fiction, Memoir/Biography, Fiction, Romance, Erotic Fiction, Speculative Fiction [Sci-fi/Fantasy/Horror], Teen/Young Adult Fiction, Mystery, Poetry, and two specialcategories: Publisher of the Year and Bi Writer of the Year. The awards are for books published in 2015.

This year,73 books were submitted toour FourthAnnual Bisexual Book Awards. “We are thrilled theBisexual Book Awards continues to thrive," says Sheela Lambert, Director of the Bi Writers Association. “Our mission is to encourage writing and publishing of bisexual books by giving them a platform to shine and rewarding them for excellence,says Lambert.”

Each of our nine book categories had a team of judgeswho spent months reading, assessingand discussing the books. The number of finalistsin each category varies,based on the number of books in that category.Winners will be announced at the Bisexual Book Awards Ceremony on Fri June 3rd, followingour annualreading and multi-arts celebration of bisexual writing, known as Bi Lines, to be held in New York City at Westbeth, in the West Village at 55 Bethune St., corner Washington 6:30-10pm, followed by an afterparty, location TBA.Join one of our email lists or keep checking the Bi Writers Association website, FB page or Twitter for program details and updates.
