ALDO’S PIZZA VISIT

The owner of Aldo’s in Cleckheaton not only allowed three of our classes to visit the restaurant to learn how to make pizzas but has kindly donated T-shirts for all the children who went.
I would like to say a massive thankyou to Pino Bianco for his kindness- the children had a wonderful time and said it was their best trip ever! / HAPPY BIRTHDAY

It is a year since we converted to become an Academy and we wanted to mark the occasion for the children.
We have given all the pupils a happy birthday T-shirt as a momento and we would like them to come to school on Thursday wearing tracksuits or shorts ready for the football charity event.
They will then change into their T-shirts if they are at school or can arrive wearing them if they took them home.
NEW APPOINTMENT
You will all have received a letter today explaining that I have been offered the position of Principal at BoothroydPrimaryAcademy.
I wanted to make a personal comment as well as the message from the Trust and Governors.
I have loved every minute of working at Birstall and will leave a fantastic team of staff and the most super children I have met. I know I will never forget my time here and will never forget the massive journey we have all been on.
This was not a decision I have taken lightly- it will be an enormous wrench for me but I do feel ready for my next challenge.
However- you have not got rid of me yet!! Birstall will still have my total dedication and attention until the day I leave!
I would also like to reassure you that we will inform you as soon as we can about the new Principal for Birstall.
