SHS 2010 Graduation Night Party!!

Dear Parents of Stanwood Class of 2010,

A milestone for every student is graduation.

Automobile accidents are the number one killer of 18 year olds and 60% of those accidents happen on graduation night – both shocking statistics.

What can we do? How do we keep them safe?

By providing a safe and sane, drug and alcohol free Graduation Night Party!

No driving required! The chance to create lifelong memories with their friends!

Several parents of the graduating senior Class of 2010 have been working for the past three years, raising money and planning just that! We’ve made changes to the venue and agenda as compared to previous years so we are able to charge only $55 per student compared to $130.

WE NEED YOUR HELP We need students to register for the party and we need parents to offer to chaperone.

Attached please find the registration form. Planning is much easier if we know how many students will be attending. PLEASE REGISTER YOUR STUDENT NOW!

Here is a sample of the evening’s activities:

  • Load buses immediately after graduation – 9:00pm, June 11.
  • Travel to the “secret” destination (kept a secret so “others” can’t join in and attendees can’t arrange rides to leave early – remember, safety is our main concern.)
  • Food, food, food! Did we mention food?
  • Video games, racquetball, music, basketball, volleyball, dancing, black jack tables, wii, karaoke, several very special entertainers and more!
  • Return by bus to Stanwood High School by 4am in time to catch a few zzzzzz’s before hitting all the graduation open houses on Saturday and Sunday.

Sound good? Let’s go! Get your student registered now! Encourage your child to ask their friends- spending graduation night with their friends and classmates is what makes memories of a lifetime. It may be the last opportunity to be with their classmates in a safe, alcohol free, and fun environment.
