Sexually transmitted infections can cause infertility or sterility, thus the need for reproductive intervention. The medical community is concerned about increasing rates of sexually transmitted infections in Alberta. There is a move to educate the public about STI's and their implications.

Activity 1: Imagine that you are working in a sexual health centre in your local area as the Education Coordinator. You are asked to make a sexual health presentation to the local high schools. You are to inform 15 to 19 year-old students of the implications of sexually transmitted infections on the structures and functions of the human reproductive systems.

Your presentation needs to address the following points:
