Biography for
Andrew White
Amica Mutual Insurance Company
Andrew White is a Claims Examiner with Amica Mutual Insurance Company. Although he has exposure to claims stemming from Amica’s automobile and marine lines, Andrew primarily deals with larger claims stemming from the homeowner and excess liability lines. With these claims, Andrew works directly with branch personnel to ensure to ensure compliance with both company and regulatory standards.
Andrew began his claims career with Amica in 1994. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, he spent time working as a claims service representative, a field adjuster and a claims supervisor. In addition to his front-line experience, Andrew spent time in Amica’s Training & Development department where he had oversight of and was actively involve in many of the adjuster training programs.
Andrew holds a bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Rhode Island. He has completed the Program in General Insurance and has obtained the Associate in Claims and Associate in Personal Insurance designation from the Insurance Institute of America. Andrew is actively pursuing his CPCU designation.
