Duty Preference Form
- Active /sailing club members are required to fulfil a minimum of four half-day dutieseachyear
(pro-rata depending on when members join during the season)to support sailing, galley and club
maintenance.
- Please register on the SCSC website as soon as you become a member – you will then havefull
members’ access to the site. You will need to register for your duties on the Duty Section of the website
- thisgoes live in January with duties filling up quickly.
- If you do not choose your own duties, the Sailing Secretary will allocate duties to you but they may
not match your preferences as stated below. It is best for you to choose the dates you know you can
do – to avoid needing to swap at a later date.
- CadetParents/Guardians are required to carry out Cadet Squadron duties, and are not
obliged to carry out main club duties as well. The decision about the number of Cadet Squadron
duties required rests with the Cadet Squadron Captain.
- Members are welcome to sign up for additional duties if they wish to do so.
- A buy-out facility is available at a cost of £50 per duty when joining.
