Copyright and Purchase Restrictions of ECCH Cases

(Please note that we have reproduced following rules of ECCH from www.ecch.com. Please visit the site for any other questions that you may have on the procurement and use of ECCH cases)

1.  Why do I have to provide course details? (pl visit: http://www.ecch.com/about/faqs-order.cfm)

We (ECCH) are required to report course details to the schools whose cases we distribute. When placing an order on-line you will be asked to provide the information that we need.

2.  How many copies do I need to order? (pl visit: http://www.ecch.com/about/faqs-order.cfm)

You must order one copy of a case for each individual student eg if your class has 45 students, you must order 45 copies of each case you wish to use with them. When educational customers order multiple copies of a case, a complimentary copy is included for the instructor. Multiple copies are a minimum of 5 copies per item. Quantities below this will be supplied as inspection copies, which are not for classroom use

3.  If I already have a copy of a case can I reproduce it? (pl visit: http://www.ecch.com/about/faqs-copyright.cfm

Due to copyright, it is illegal for you to copy any of the items we distribute. However, if you hold an official case master and are from one of our (ECCH) member organisations, you can contact us to request permission to reproduce the case at your site. Additional copies are charged at the standard price per copy. An order must be received and approved by us before any copies can be made. As part of this process we will check that you have the latest version of the case. If the one held is out of date, a new master will be provided.

4.  Can I scan a case to make a digital copy? (pl visit: http://www.ecch.com/about/faqs-copyright.cfm)

No, due to copyright restrictions, it is illegal to scan any of the items we distribute to create your own digital copy. If you wish to provide an electronic copy of a case to students, please contact ourCustomer Support Team to discuss your requirements.

5. How quickly can I get a case? (pl visit: http://www.ecch.com/about/faqs-order.cfm)

Although we print to order, as we do not hold stock of the items we distribute, the usual turnaround time for the majority of items is only two working days, or one working day for electronic delivery. Some items (eg videos) may take longer. If it is likely to take more than two working days to despatch any of the items on your order, a member of our Customer Support Team will contact you.
