All jumping classes will be single phase competitions: competitors will jump all fences unless eliminated and the second half of the course will be timed.

Competitors taking part in any classes from 1 to 4 are not permitted to jump in classes 8

and9. Likewise, competitors in classes 8 and 9 cannot compete in classes 1 to 4.Competitors are not allowed to compete in both lead rein and off lead rein classes of the same height.

Competitors,Parents and Guardians must abide by the Rules Conditions of Entry

  1. In all cases the Judge’s decision is final.
  2. Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are inlaw responsible, neither the organisers at this event, the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord, accepts any liability for accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract, or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
  3. Correct dress must be worn in the arenas and on the Showground. Riding hats must comply with the Pony Club 2018 Rules, with the chin strap correctly fastened at all times when mounted. For a full list of approved hat standards please see pcuk.org.

  5. No horses or ponies under the age of four years to enter the showground. No stallions allowed.
  6. For lead rein classes, lead rein to be attached to the noseband and pony led for the entirety of the class.
  7. Entry fees will only be refunded on production of a medical/veterinary certificate.
  8. The organisers reserve the right to cancel, amend or add to any of the classes as they see fit.
  9. There must be no cantering, galloping or lunging on the Showground, outside of the rings.
  10. Health, Safety and Welfare. The organisers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. Everyone must take all reasonable care to avoid and prevent accidents,and obeyinstructions given by the organisers, officials and stewards.Dogs must be kept on a lead.
  11. Perpetual trophies remain the property of MGPS. These trophies must be returned engraved, cleanand in good condition by 1st May 2019to Kirstie Wakelin at Fox Covert Farm, Marsh Gibbon OX27 0AQ.
  12. The Show Committee has a zero tolerance policy towards any competitors, or their associates being abusive in anyway whatsoever to any other competitor, official or steward. Equally no abuse towards any horse will be permitted. Appropriate action as necessary will be taken by the Committee in these circumstances.
