Each competitor must supply a freestanding workstation including fire extinguisher, and must use 20lb propane bottles. No trucks will remain in the arena. Competitors must supply a horse holder. 6:30-7:30 am Setup Div I Eagle Eye (TBA)–Keg shoe to fit foot. Forging I (60 min) –A pair of hinds with quarter clipsand rolled toe. Center punch on lateral heel. Keg shoe. Forging II (60 min)–Apair of fronts with toe clip, center punch lateral heel. 12”of 3/8x3/4”concave. Forging III (60 min)–One square-toed hind with trailer. One hind shoe with extended heels and rocker toe. Both shoes fit the same foot. Shoes supplied on the day. Div II Eagle Eye (TBA) -Plain stamped with appropriate nails. Forging I (60 min)– Pair of plain stamped fronts with toe clip, hammer drawn. Six MX 50 nails. 11 1/2”of 3/8x3/4” Forging II (60 min)–Pair of hinds, quarter clipped, hammer drawn. Six MX 50 nails. 11 “of 3/8x3/4”. Forging III (60min) – 12”3/8x3/4”- ¾ fullered front, six nails, 5 slims. ¾ fullered straight bar shoe to fit the same foot. 6 nails. Shoeing (60 min) - Plain stamped shoe using appropriate stock and nails, clipped.

Div III Eagle Eye –(TBA) 3/8x3/4”fullered. Forging I (60 min)-Pair of fronts, toe clipped ¾ fullered, 12” of 3/8x3/4”. Pair of hinds, ¼ clipped, ¾ fullered, 11 ½”of 3/8x3/4”. Delta 5 slim nail. Forging II (60 min)- Pair of front fullered straight bar shoes with toe clip. Seven nails Mustad E 5 Forging III(60) – Pair of fullered hinds with masselotte toe clip, six nails E4 slim. Shoeing (60 min)–¾ fullered front with toe clip. 3/8x3/4” Match Play- (12min) Hot start, make one hind left, plain stamped, toe clipped. 12”of 3/8x3/4” flat. Single knockout. Entry $10.00 of which ½ goes to winner ½ to WCFA.
